    “Pinot/Chardonnay Tour”

Tour Overview

Are you a lover of Pinot Noir? Then this is the tour for you! The Russian River region produces some of the finest Pinot Noir in the world and we will spend the day riding 10 to 20 miles through the region tasting and enjoying the beauty of the area. Along the way we will stop in the vineyards for a little grape growing 101 session, picture taking, learn about wine industry and the local history. When we have worked up an appetite at our second or third winery visit we will prepare your gourmet picnic lunch while you’re wine tasting. Lunch includes salmon, beef, or chicken, local cheeses, seasonal green salad or a seasonal fruit salad, hummus, and dessert. We love food!

We will stop and taste at 2 or 3 wineries, which may include Landmark vineyards at Hop Kiln, Arista, MacRostie, Williams Selyem, or Porter Creek.

“For a couple of Canadian roadies this is the best way to combine wine and cycling! Dave Brazil was an excellent tour guide and was gracious in amending our tour when we decided to try barrel tasting, great lunch, great company and would certainly go back!”
