• Healdsburg Day Tour

    “The Big Red Wine Tour”

Tour Overview

We ride new hybrid Giant bikes 8 to 17 miles through the beautiful Dry Creek Valley on country roads alongside the vineyards with rolling hills. We will stop at 3 or 4 of our small and family owned partner wineries.

At one winery stop, we will walk through the vineyards to get a close up of the grapes and vines; discussing the grape growing process, when grapes are harvested, and organic farming practices. At the third winery, while you are tasting, your guide will prepare your wine country lunch; Salmon, beef or rosemary chicken, fresh green salad, local cheese, hummus, fresh fruit, and dessert. After lunch, we will decide whether to ride more or taste more or both! Don’t forget your camera! The Healdsburg wine tasting bicycling tour is our most popular ride.

Wineries we often visit on this tour include Dry Creek winery, Lambert Bridge, Bella, and Rued Family Winery.

“All of us at Dry Creek Vineyard are big fans of Adventures in Cycling, including Dave and his guides. We love that their tours are small, so that we can give you an intimate and personal experience when you ride up to our picnic grounds. We are proud to be one of the founding wineries of Dry Creek Valley, and love to share our 45-year history of producing refreshing Sauvignon Blancs, single vineyard Zinfandels, and Bordeaux-style blends. We look forward to seeing you!”
